I used most of my work time in my Multimedia Portfolio class to make my video. Most of it is going to be made in After Effects, so I don’t have to worry about setting aside a whole lot of time to film anything.

I don’t use AE that often, but I always have a lot of fun with it once I’m in the software. Last year when we made our lyric videos, I had a lot of fun with it, and I have the same enthusiasm for the self promo video.

I haven’t gotten very far yet, but so far I’m really liking it! I wanted to find a spot to include a picture of my cat, and I did exactly that. I still have to add the red background effect from my headshots, though. I might not make the boarder around Pumpkin as big as it is around me, but I know I have to add something if I want everything to look a little more unified.

I’m not going to try and rush everything before the draft is due, especially since I have a busy weekend, but I might shift some of my campaign focus to the video instead and try to juggle both projects at once for a while.
