Hitting the Homestretch

Since it’s the first of the month, I wrote down a master list of what I needed to get done before the end of the semester. Looking at it seemed jarring. How could I have this much to do in 24 days? I had my ten piece campaign to finish, my personal campaign to finish, my original design piece, my Artsteps gallery, my Issuu publication, my website, and my video to do. Most of what was on the list were things that I could finish easily, or things that I was close to being done with. As of tonight, my workload is a little more managable, but I still have a lot I need to work on this week.

I got my ten piece campaign done, and all I need to do with it is to look at everything and see if anything needs fine-tuning. I’m really happy that it’s done! I can shift my focus to my personal campaign and original design piece in Tony’s classes. For my video, I was planning on getting my filming done this weekend and getting some work done on it, as well as getting my design pieces ready for my Artsteps gallery and digital portfolio.

My Issuu publication is up and running, but only until my trial period runs out. I still haven’t got approved for a student plan, but it worst comes to worst, I might just pay for the $13 a month plan so I can keep my magazine up on my website.

I’m working on making a Facebook account to make my business page as well, I verified my identity, and hopefully within a few days I’ll be allowed to use my account.

All of the work that I have to do before the Portfolio Show seems very overwhelming, but I know if I put in the work this week, everything will get a lot easier from there!
